Guidelines for PVC Strip Size
6" PVC Strips
Door Openings 6” High or Less - Create a lightweight pedestrian strip door, easy to pass through.
8" x .080" PVC Strips
Door Openings 8' to 10' High - Create a strip door that can be used easily by a pedestrian but durable enough to face motorized traffic.
12" x .120" PVC Strips
Door Openings 10' to 14' High - Create a durable heavy-duty industrial strip door heavy enough to stop airflow in larger openings.
16" x .160" PVC Strips
Door Openings 15' Feet High or More - Create the ultimate heavy-duty strip door kit to seal off the largest openings in industrial facilities.
Note: Heavy wind or strong negative/positive airflow will create some situations where a wider/heavier size of strip will be more appropriate.
