A worn door gasket lets warm air into the cabinet for every hour the unit runs. The compressor works harder, frost builds up around the door, and holding temperatures start to drift. Replacing the gasket is usually the cheapest repair a commercial refrigerator will ever need.
Strivide makes replacement gaskets for refrigerators and freezers built by more than 90 equipment manufacturers, from True, Traulsen and Delfield reach-ins to Kolpak walk-ins. We extrude our own PVC profiles in South Dakota and assemble every gasket to order in the USA. Our gaskets are NSF certified, and standard shipping is free on every U.S. order.

Search by part number, model or size
Most gaskets are listed under the manufacturer’s part number and the models they fit, so either one will find it. The data plate, usually on an inside side wall of the cabinet, gives you the model and serial number.

Which gasket does your equipment take?
Reach-in refrigerators and freezers
The most common replacement. Full-height doors take long gaskets, often more than five feet, so match by part number or measure the old gasket corner to corner.
Undercounter, worktop and prep tables
Doors and drawers on these units are small and easy to mix up. Match the part number, or measure each opening separately.
Walk-in coolers and freezers
Large doors, often about 36 by 78 inches, that open all day. Many take a three-sided gasket. See walk-in door gaskets.
Glass-door merchandisers and display cases
Glass doors use their own profiles. Door makers such as Anthony, Schott Gemtron and Styleline supply doors for many other brands’ cases, so check the door itself for a label.
Bar and back-bar coolers
Bar equipment from brands such as Perlick and Glastender uses compact gaskets. Measure the door itself rather than the cabinet face.
Heated holding cabinets
Warming and holding cabinets run hot, so the gasket has to suit the temperature. Match these by part number rather than by size alone.
Signs a gasket needs replacing
- Splits or tears, especially at the corners.
- A flattened or hardened bulb that no longer springs back.
- A door that doesn’t pull itself shut. Close it on a sheet of paper: if the paper slides out without any drag, that section isn’t sealing.
- Frost or ice building up around a freezer door, or condensation on the frame.
- Mold or residue that won’t clean out of the folds.
How to measure
Measure to the nearest 1/8 inch, height first, then width.
- Corner to corner: with the old gasket still on the door, measure from outside edge to outside edge.
- Dart to dart: if the gasket is missing, measure the door track from dart to dart.
- Mounting: note whether it snaps on (a dart in a track), pushes in (a barbed insert) or bolts on (a retainer plate and screws).
- Sides: most doors take a four-sided gasket; some walk-in doors use three.

How Strivide gaskets are made
We extrude our own PVC gasket profiles in South Dakota. Each gasket is cut to length, fitted with its magnetic strip, trimmed and welded at the corners, then shipped to you. Because we make the gasket ourselves, we can also build one to any size up to 95 inches, which helps with older equipment.

Common questions
Are these OEM gaskets?
No. They are replacement gaskets that Strivide makes to fit the equipment listed. Brand names and part numbers appear only so you can identify the right fit.
Where do I find my model or part number?
Look for the data plate, usually on an inside side wall of the cabinet. It shows the model and serial number. The equipment manufacturer’s parts department can turn those into a gasket part number, or call us on (877) 434-1985 and we’ll help.
My model isn’t listed. Can you still help?
Yes. Measure the old gasket, note how it mounts, and order a gasket made to size, or email us photos and measurements first.
How long will my gasket take to arrive?
Orders are processed in 3 to 5 business days, not counting weekends and U.S. holidays. Delivery time then depends on the carrier and your location. Expedited shipping isn’t offered at the moment.
Can I fit it myself?
Snap-on gaskets go on without tools, and the installation videos show how. For bolt-on gaskets, or a door that is out of alignment, a refrigeration technician is the safer choice.
